Small Business Saturday – December 6th shopping bonanza!

We are delighted to tell you that your local Elements Hair Beauty Lifestyle has been chosen as a top 100 business by Small Business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday has featured Elements on its Facebook page for our efforts in working with small businesses in Oxted to deliver a fabulous festive shopping experience on Saturday December 6th.  We look forward to welcoming shoppers to the High Street which will be transformed into a winter wonderland.

The Elements team say: “We are lucky to be in one of the happiest professions, so sharing, fun and a smile is second nature. Our high street will be transformed into a festive wonderland. Stockings will be hung with care in the hope that St Nicholas will be there, our snow machine will be in full flow. Street entertainment, a food fair, competitions will be supported by a fabulous online digital campaign, produced for the town by elements digital apprentices. The proof is in the pudding,  caring and sharing is the gift that brings success to us all.”

Small Business Saturday is a grass-roots campaign that encourages people to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities, both on the Saturday and beyond.

It is traditionally an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, one of the busiest shopping days of the year. The initiative started in 2010, and has generated a lot of custom for small businesses.
